Condition
The panel has been cradled.There is a circa 10cm vertical split in the centre of the upper framing edge, visible on the front. The panel otherwise appears to be stable. There are signs of frame rubbing, with some minor, associated spots of paint loss along the lower framing edge and in the lower part of the right framing edge. There are some small spots of paint flaking in the background in the upper left quadrant, as visible in the catalogue illustration. With the exception of one small spot of cosmetic retouching in the lower part of the right framing edge, possibly addressing frame rubbing, there is no other visible sign of restoration. This work is in overall good condition and is ready to hang. Presented in a decorative gilt frame with a nameplate.
