Overall the condition of the terracotta is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is dirt to the surface in areas, in particular around the shoulders, to the tip of the nose, and to the top of the base. There are a few small chips, including below the proper right eye, to the proper right temple, and to the edges and corners of the base. There is a minor stable firing crack to the base at the back. There is a small restoration or reattachment above the upper lip.
