Overall, the condition of the marble is very good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is particular dirt in the crevices. There is veining to the marble, consistent with the material, including to the neck, to the chest, to the proper left hip, and to the proper right leg. There are some very minor chips to the edges of the drapery at the top, and to the leaves of the rose held in the hand. The tip of the proper left middle finger has been reattached. There is some yellow staining and scuff marks to the edges of the base. There are some minor chips to the bottom edge of the base.
