Good overall condition. With minor accretion, some wear to gilding, and minor surface abrasions throughout. Restoration to proper left thigh has been left ungilt, as visible in catalogue illustration. The base is circa 15th century and was later joined to the current work.

鎏金銅屍陀林像，巨大威武，舞姿躍然如生，震撼攝人。屍陀林像多見伴隨於金剛乘教圖像，尤以唐卡為最，為修持人護法。此件大型立像，為現知私人及博物館收藏中獨一無二之例。

屍陀林之形貌，參考紐約魯賓藝術博物館藏一件十五世紀唐卡，刊於 Rob Linrothe 及 Jeff Watt，前述出處，頁126-127，編號10。參考另一件十八世紀金剛亥母唐卡，2014年6月10日售於巴黎蘇富比，編號69，觀該唐卡細節可推測，此尊屍陀林像或原為一對，相對起舞，置於寺院或祭壇二側。

屍陀林為勝樂金剛與金剛亥母壇城中八大寒林之護法神，多乾枯無肉，三眼，著五葉或五骷髏冠，手持法器，兩膝交錯，寒林中的鬼神，均為屍陀林所掌管。
