with shallow sides rising to the lipped rim, the center finely incised with a writhing five-clawed scaly dragon in pursuit of a 'flaming pearl' amidst flame-scrolls and clouds within a ring, the sides enlivened by two further dragons chasing 'flaming pearls' all beneath the translucent egg-yellow glaze, the base with a six-character seal mark in underglaze blue
