of square section, the lid lifting up to reveal a collapsible mirror stand inset with  openwork panels of flowers and stylized tendrils, framing the central section carved in openwork with a quatrefoil motif, the bottom of the stand with a lotus leaf-shaped support for the mirror, above a dressing case set with three drawers, all raised on four hoof feet

Condition

The case made from disparate elements, the base is missing. There is shrinkage to the top panel which is separated from the base at the back.The tray and drawer bases are of tielimu The metal mounts have been replaced. There are minor losses, splitting and one of the elements of the mirror stand is broken and very loose. There is a small wedge-shaped loss to the side panel that joins the base of the mirror stand. Both dowels to the mirror stand are worn and need restoration.There has been general consolidation, minor repairs and wear consistent with age and use.Please note that this lot will require a CITES permit for export outside of the United States.
