Seated on a gold throne-chair a lord accepts a small paan from a handmaiden on a terrace of the zenana (harem).  Accompanied by handmaidens holding vessels and objects.

 

Condition

Good and stable overall condition.The image is pasted down upon archival paper and is missing its folio border. Abrasions to pigment in the following areas: hair, neck, arm and feet of attendant standing at lower right, chin and neck of attendant standing at lower left, temple of attendant standing at upper right and hair of attendant standing at upper left. Some creases and cracks to paper on the upper ground (area of treetops and sky appear to be reinforced from the back). This is lot has not been inspected outside its frame.
