robustly potted rising from a slightly splayed low foot, covered inside and out with a milky-blue glaze shading to gray at the rim, the interior dappled with eight free-form purple splashes, the glaze falling short of the foot on the exterior to reveal the coarse clay burnt orange in the firing

The surface polished all over. The glaze crackled, and the purple splashes possible later added.
