Condition
Both canvases are unlined. The image reads well, though the paint may have thinned in some areas like with the darker tones. Under the inspection of UV the first pair shows some spots of retouching on the cheek at left, closer to the nose, as well as some smaller, thin lines of retouches scattered on the hair, forehead, neck, and robe. The second has a very thin line of retouching by the nose and cheeks with further marks on the hair and a small spot on the right corner of the background. The pairs can hang in their present state and are offered in an ornate gilded frame.
