Condition

On a flat, stable panel with beveling on all four edges. The panel is uncradled and appears to be made of one board. There may be one very faint, thin, vertical crack running about 4 inches from the upper edge at right. Inspection under UV light reveals a somewhat milky varnish with some possible old retouching beneath, primarily in the shadows of the background and the figures remain largely untouched. There is possibly an old cleaning test or a small area of restoration in the lower right corner. The painting might possibly benefit from a light clean, but it is otherwise ready to hang in its current state. Offered in a carved giltwood frame.
