《獨宿學幽棲》乃郎靜山另一幅名的的「影繪」風景作品。莊靈認為，本作比《女有所思》運用更多綜合媒材，上方飛鳥、下方鴨子乃剪貼，兩旁樹木為實物標本，而中間房舍則為手繪，並在暗房沖印成此幅富有格調，主題古典而風格現代的作品。
