《枝葉長青》乃郎靜山的靜物作品，其審美情趣呼應國畫「歲朝清供」題材。莊靈指出，郎靜山拍攝的靜物花卉，多由其本人親自安插擺放，插花方法亦採用中式自然之道，而非日式或西式花道。相比《十姊妹》，本作的光線運用強烈，枝椏、草葉的影子在花瓶供桌上清晰可見，後方背景卻以虛化處理，可見本作應於室內影棚創作。
