夏威夷華人許漢超畢生旅居海外，其半具象風格結合立體主義、表現主義與道家陰陽哲學。《輕舟樂韻》呈現一對在夜間陶醉於音樂的才子佳人，女子彎身彈奏阮琴，男子側身坐於其後。簡約勾勒的輪廓和深邃抽象的色調，表達出「隔水悠揚午夜鐘」的獨特韻味。許漢超在畫中加入線條元素，以對比強烈的灰色、黑色線條勾勒人物，結合女子彈奏的阮琴，體現其對傳統樂器與書法的修養；構圖方面則融入中國文字（安、音樂、西亞），與德國表現主義背景渾然融合。
