甲骨文的靈感
1954年起，趙無極的繪畫由具象發展至符號化階段，藉著潛心回顧中國文化，展開全新的藝術表現 ─「甲骨文時期」。甲骨文乃東方文明之起源，筆劃之間縱然意義隱晦，卻是人類所思所想形象化的珍貴紀錄。《無題1954》用色鮮明，亮眼的天藍色水彩暈染，搭配著跳脫的橘黃，富於油彩難以表達的透明感，猶似流動於歷史符號的樂章，黃鐘大呂、古意盎然，體現融合東西文化，馳騁畫面的自由想像，蔚為精緻詩篇。
