finely carved in the round in the form of five bats with outstretched and interlocked wings, with two nuzzling bats on one side and three facing each other on the other, the smoothly polished stone of a fine even white colour highlighted with areas of russet 

Condition

There is a tiny chip to the tip of one bat's wing, otherwise the carving is in overall good condition.
