of square section, the 'Buddhist lion' crouching on a large craggy rock with its head raised high, detailed with finely incised fur and a prominently pronounced ridged spine, the seal face carved with a four-character inscription reading Zhuo jiu ting huang li (pour a cup of wine and listen to the Oriole sing)
Condition
There are the expected nicks to the extremities, and traces of seal paste pigment due to use. Otherwise the seal is in overall good condition.
