finely carved in high relief with a five-clawed dragon writhing amidst dense clusters of lingzhi clouds issuing upwards from turbulent waves and craggy rocks at the base, confronting a 'flaming pearl', with a young dragon at the bottom emerging from the waves, the stone of an even white colour with attractive brown colouration and dark speckles on the back

The jade finial is in overall good condition with some minor nicks to the extremities.
