carved recumbent with its finely detailed wings poised and folded along its long curling bifurcated tail-feathers, depicted with well-rendered plumage, the stone of a pale celadon accentuated with russet inclusions, with an oval-shaped aperture to the base

The jade phoenix is in overall good condition with some minor nicks to the extremities.
