Accompanied by SSEF report no. 80949, stating that the heart-shaped emerald stated to weigh 65.94 carats, calculated to weigh approximately 65 carats, measuring approximately 35.40 x 30.85 x 10.05mm, is of Colombian origin, with a moderate amount of oil in fissures. Please note that Sotheby's is not responsible for the accuracy of any estimated weights provided by gemmological certificates. Signed A. Reza, French maker's mark for Alexandre Reza. French assay marks and stamped Pt 950 for platinum and 750 for 18 carat gold. Inscribed E 65.94, referring to the stated carat weight of the emerald, BC 3.38 referring to the stated total carat weight of the two heart-shaped diamonds, and B 17.11, referring to the stated total carat weight of the oval diamonds. Emerald green of medium strong saturation, with typical surface-inclusions, small scratches and abrasions, one noticeable polished cavity on pavilion. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 18.00 - 20.00 carats, on average I-K colour, SI-I clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Little signs of wear to the metal. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 44 grams.
