Please note that the date for SSEF report numbered 90509 should be 10 March 2017 instead of 28 February 2017 as stated in the printed catalogue. Also accompanied by an appendix letter from SSEF stating that " A natural ruby from Burma of this size and quality can be considered rare and exceptional". Accompanied by Gübelin, SSEF and GIA reports, numbered 17021109, 90509 and 2257135653 respectively, stating that the ruby is natural, of Burmese origin with no indications of heating. GIA further states that the colour appearance of this stone is described in the trade as "Pigeon Blood". For further details, please refer to the reports. Signed Cartier, numbered 43741A, French assay and maker's marks. Stamped PT950 for platinum. Ruby is medium red colour of strong saturation. Upon 10X magnification, typical surface reaching inclusions are visible, with some nicks and tiny chips. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 1.40 carats in total, are on average F to G colour and VVS to VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Signs of wear to the metal consistant with use. Overall in good condition. Case stamped Cartier.
