Suspending a rubellite carved as a bat on the peach and ruyi, symbolising 'happiness and longevity', accented with seed pearls.
Condition
Rubellite is medium reddish purple colour of strong saturation. Under 10X magnification, there are typical minor inclusions and fissures not easily seen with unaided eye. Button-shaped seed pearls are whitish colour of very good luster. Under 10X magnification, pearl surfaces appear uneven with minor blemishes, not noticeable to unaided eye. Rope is slightly frayed at knot commensurate with age. Overall in very good condition.
