Condition

The present lot consists of 3 works. Unexamined out of their frames. The collaged elements appear to be securely fastened, however a piece of paper in the upper right corner of 'Jar' is very slightly lifting. There is some light creasing to some of the collaged pieces of paper. There is cracking to some of the black pigment with some losses. There are some scuffs and scrapes to some of the collaged elements, in keeping with the Artist's working methods and materials. There is some glue staining and general surface dirt. This excepting the works appear to be in very good overall condition. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of retouching. The works are float mounted within simple wooden frames and held behind perspex. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
