The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in very good vintage condition with very light and superficial surface scuffs and marks consistent with age and infrequent use. Lugs in excellent condition with some small scuffing and marks. Upper left lug band with a small scratch. Backs of lugs with scratches likely from spring bars. Present spring bars are stainless steel, not yellow gold. Case back with light surface wear and scuffing. Original bezel in excellent condition. Original bezel in excellent condition with some signs of darkening between 24 and 2. A light spot between 18 and 19. Crystal with some light scuffs. Dial in very good vintage condition with even and fine gilt text. Hands and indexes original with some light surface marks. Crown in excellent condition, as indicated by the coin edged areas. Back of lower right lug with clear hallmark. Bracelet and clasp with scuffing and wear consistent with occasional use.
