The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in overall good condition with wear, scuffing, and scratches consistent with age and use. Front of case with red and white polychrome enamel depiction of Achilles heel. Back of case with polychrome enamel depiction of blue and white flag. Back case with a round water mark which may benefit from cleaning. Slider and chronograph pusher with some wear. Dial in overall very good condition with some light spots of debris visible under a loop. Numerals and indexes remain vivid. Repeater is chiming in phase, but chimes sporadically and will require cleaning. Single button chronograph functions properly. Some light oxidation to the blued steel chronograph hand. Movement in good condition. Please note that the watch is accompanied by an associated watch chain with fob.
