The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in overall fair vintage condition with wear and scuffing consistent with age and use. Some heavier scuff markings to the bezel between 12-2. Indentation to the case band between 1 and 2, 4, 5, between 8 and 10. Some material loss and scratching to the band and case back from opening and closing. Dial in overall very good condition. Some areas of debris and some light oxidation to the subsidiary plate joining. Cuvette inscribed for Gondolo & Labouriau, Rio De Janeiro. Movement in overall very good condition. One scratch to the plate close to the the winding crown; some light wear to the gilt.
