Condition
The battery is running at the time of cataloguing however will require periodic replacement in the future. The movement has not been tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
The dial and hands are in excellent condition.
The case is in excellent condition as it has minor scratches and scuffs which is consistent with little use.
Overall the watch is in excellent condition.

The Emergency watch was produced in the purpose of being a back-up survival instrument for pilots. The watch is equipped with a miniature radio transmitter to locate people in distress, this miniature radio transmitter broadcasts a signal on the international aviation distress frequency of 121.5MHz which is used by all rescue services.
