本品器形雅致，釉色婉約，彰顯清初景德鎮御窰之精進工藝。時匠標新創異，缩減釉中含鈷，得此天藍釉色，清淡素美，靜謐雲雅。此類品多細工，故推應創於康熙晚期，詳見 Suzanne G. Valenstein，《A Handbook of Chinese Ceramics》，紐約，1989年，頁241。
