the ovoid body with broad shoulders tapering to the foot, freely painted with chocolate brown slip on a cream ground with two large shaped panels of a boy and a water bird amongst flowers, below a band of chrysanthemum at the shoulder
Condition
There is some areas of restoration to the rim and sides. There is also a ca. 3cm by 2cm chip to the foot and a horizontal glaze flaw to the lower section of the body and areas of the glaze chipped to the exterior.
