The figure is in very good condition with the exception of light rubbing to the gilding. The base is closed.

本像造工精妙，鎏金瑰麗，佛袍衣褶造型自然，寶相安詳。元代期間，藏傳佛教為宮廷宗教，新穎造像風格始於此時，而本像即屬元代傳統風格。 比較三件十四世紀初木刻版畫，為杭州一寺院特製，諸尊面帶微笑，身軀飽滿，寶座層疊，載於Heather Stoddard Karmay，《Early Sino-Tibetan Art》，沃明斯特，1975年，圖版 26、29、及30，反映當時西藏盛行風格，十五世紀早期藝匠，或以之為靈感。
本品另一特點，乃其《錢塘陳彥清造》款。陳彥清，自元末至十五世紀初期活躍於杭州。現存帶陳氏款識之例甚罕，比較一例，尺寸較大，出自Jas R. Herbert Boone收藏，售於紐約蘇富比1989年4月18/19日，編號150A。另比一例，鎏金銅真武像，帶陳彥清款，斷代 1439年，出自Robert Sonnenschein II收藏，現藏於芝加哥藝術學院，圖載於Stephen Little，《Taoism and the Arts of China》，柏克萊，2000年，圖版103；紐約大都會藝術博物館也有藏例，老子像，斷代 1438，圖見Daisy Patry Leidy及Donna Strahan，《Wisdom Embodied. Chinese Buddhist and Daoist Sculpture in the Metropolitan Museum of Art》，紐約，2010年，圖版38。
