each body with deep rounded sides rising from a short straight foot to a slightly everted rim, brightly enamelled around the exterior with two pairs of dragon and carp leaping from waves in pursuit of a flaming pearl, the interior with a flaming pearl encircled by flower sprays and Buddhist emblems at the rim, the base with an apocryphal Chenghua mark
Condition
Both bowls are in good condition with the exception of an approx. 6cm., hairline rim crack to one.
