heavily cast with compressed spherical sides rising from a slightly spreading foot to a flared rim, applied with two loop handles on the side, covered in an even warm brown patina, the base with an apocryphal four-character Xuande mark in seal script

This censer is in good condition but there are some areas of darkened discolouration to the patina. There is some overall wear to the surface including various nicks and scratches, which is consistent with age and use. The patina is worn to the underside of the foot.
