the shallow rounded sides delicately worked in the form of slender fluted petals with pointed tips radiating from a slightly raised flat centre simulating a chrysanthemum bloom, all supported on a foot of conforming form, covered overall in a bright red lacquer save the base lacquered black, Japanese wood box
Condition
This large dish is in good condition, but does have several cracks running through it to the interior, some running from the rim and longer ones parallel to the rim. There are some similar, but more minor cracks to the exterior. There are also some scratches to the surface to the interior.
