Condition
These pair of dishes are in good condition, but there are areas of wear and scratches to the glaze to the interior of each dish.

本對盤黃釉豐潤，鮮豔奪目。黃釉，限宮廷御用，管制嚴格，製於明代景德鎮御窰。 藝匠以唐朝黃釉為本，加氧化鐵（3.5%）入硅酸鉛釉，燒成黃釉。淺單色釉器，燒製技巧要求極高， 須取純土，施精工，胎、釉、火必嫻熟，佳器方成。亦因形簡色單，器形釉色，渾然諧美，如有微瑕，必致毀棄。
器型釉色，可比較倫敦大英博物館收藏一例，錄於霍吉淑，《Ming Ceramics in the British Museum》，倫敦，2001，圖版8:28；另一例見於《 Inaugural Exhibition. Chinese Ceramics》，東亞藝術館，巴斯，卷2，編號148；敏求精舍展覽《明清一色釉瓷》亦曾展出一對，香港藝術博物館，香港，1977年，編號81；再比一例，圖見John Ayers，《Chinese Ceramics.
