the rounded sides rising from a spreading foot, carved in relief with a band of stylised foliate scrolls and floral blossoms between two bands of lappets, the domed cover similarly carved with foliage and surmounted with a coiled floral finial, the stone of an even pale celadon tone

There is a large flaw to the interior approx 13cm long, that runs parallel and just below the rim which has had some infilling, there is also an approx. 4cm area of infilling to the the same flaw to the exterior. There is another horizontal flaw below this. There is a short horizontal flaw to the rim of the cover.
