清十八至十九世紀 水晶三星八仙紋如意

the ruyi-shaped terminal carved in low relief with the Three Star Gods standing in a landscape with overhanging pine trees, the curved shaft with a lobed panel enclosing the Eight Daoist Immortals amidst a landscape with a fruiting peach tree, above a shaped panel of a shou character roundel framed by two bats, the reverse similarly decorated with alternating shou roundels and five bats, the nearly flawless crystal of a clear transparent tone, Japanese wood box inscribed by Chikuka Sanjin in 1918

There is minor nibbling to the pointed end of the shaft. The clear crystal is of very good quality, with the exception of minimal natural inclusions to the top right corner of the ruyi terminal and the curved part at the top of the shaft.
