釋文:瘦損昭陽鏡裏春,漢家公子奉烏孫。淚痕滴盡穹廬月,誰道神香解返魂。絕纓人醉燭花殘,主意方濃未厭歡。十五瓊兒梳洗薄,琵琶才許近簾彈。生憎施粉與施朱,換骨玄都亦自姝。疏影冷香題不到,夢驚煙雨暗西湖。芳珮姊屬畫,并錄劉仲尹《梅花》十首之三求政。戊子(1768)冬月,白蓮居士方婉儀。鈐印:「羅」、「方氏白蓮」、「兩峯之妻」

註:閨閣畫家方婉儀(1732-1779),字儀子,號白蓮居士,安徽歙縣人。為廣東布政使方愿瑛女孫、國子監生方寶儉之女,系出名門,故自幼習文,通文辭韻律,撰有《學陸集》、《白蓮半格詩》等。下嫁揚州八怪羅聘以後,得夫君指導,畫藝大進,以繪梅蘭菊竹為主,畫風雅逸,淡泊清新。夫婦二人不時合璧作畫,或得鄭燮、金農等畫家題詩,又參加各式詩畫社,包括名媛及主流的宴會社交,詩畫唱酬,處於揚州主要文人圈子,深受圈中名人支持及肯定,並未有局限於閨閣生活之中。其女芳淑、子允紹、允纘,在耳濡目染下,皆有執筆習畫,以畫梅為擅,成當時畫壇的「羅家梅派」。

本幅亦鈐有其夫羅聘之印,或有某程度的參與;為芳佩姊所囑,閨閣間筆墨相娛之作。墨梅姿態多變,用筆有道,配劉仲尹《梅花》句三首,古趣盎然。曾先後經梁章鉅及小萬柳堂遞藏,後收入「五十萬卷樓」內。

梁章鉅(1775-1849),字閎中,又字茞,晚號退庵,能詩擅書,富收藏,善鑒賞。曾任江蘇布玫使、廣西巡撫兼署學政等,積極杜絕罌粟復種,克守公職,著有《歸田瑣記》、《浪跡叢談》、《退庵隨筆》等。

小萬柳堂,乃廉泉及其妻吳芝瑛之堂號,位於上海及杭州西湖旁。廉泉(1868-1932),字惠卿,號南湖,無錫人,光緒二十年(1894)中舉,善詩工書,好收書畫金石,收藏豐富。吳芝瑛(1866-1934),字紫英,桐城學派文學家吳康之之女,自幼便工文章,習書畫,與秋瑾交誼深厚。夫婦二人好古,四處搜索,其中明清書畫精選,更於二十世紀初出國展覽於東京,又小居日本,開設扇莊,介紹中國書畫,名震一時。

本輯乃近世東莞藏書家莫伯驥(1878-1958)「五十萬卷樓」舊藏,此聞名粵省之收藏第二度於香港蘇富比釋出古代書畫。莫家藏書可溯源至晚唐學士莫宣卿,可謂陳編世守,嬋嫣不絕,至伯驥已是麻涌莫氏第廿八代,雖從商致富,然甘飯蔬食,癡迷古書,且無閥閱之氣,藏必研究,五十萬卷書外尚有著作數十種。惜身逢亂世,藏書著述或毀於戰火,或散落人間,聚散無常,自古如是。
四十年代初,莫伯驥隨子培樾遷居澳門,方得一片寧靜,然終究無力再搜集古書,衹留部份前賢學人翰墨,寄想過往。

本小輯作品清新雅致,均為文人間閒暇小品,還包括閨閣畫家方婉儀《墨梅》,收藏之品味,旨於佳品,不局限於畫名之大小,慧眼獨到。
