註：鄭午昌有曰「每讀楊柳岸，曉風殘月，輒覺技癢，率性之作，亦間有獨到處」，此謂取柳永詞意入畫，本幅即據此為圖。畫中古柳參天，禿枝無葉，野渡孤舟，泊岸待人，雲澹煙嵐，樹梢間一鉤彎月，意境清冷。畫上署年「丙寅」，乃鄭午昌具明確紀年最早作品之一，翌年筆下出〈太華攬勝圖〉，與本幅皆枯筆皴擦，樸茂枯澹，此亦畫家早期追慕戴本孝畫風之體現，以此技法狀寫屯田「曉風殘月」詞意，情景貼切，可見畫家取法之心思靈巧。
