註:大千先生與顧正言伉儷,訂交於中國大陸時期。顧太太景淑女士乃著名書畫收藏家張珩(1915-1963)表妹,兩張原為藝壇舊交,因此淵源,張顧兩家先後移家北美,定居於加州時期,往來更形密切,時維上世紀六十年代後期。大千好客,喜熱鬧,鄰居或來訪之友好,常聚居於其寓所,顧氏伉儷即可以居、環篳庵中常客,乃其身傍舊友圈子中的中堅分子。大千招待友人之家宴名單上,亦常見顧氏伉儷作陪。過從期間,屢有書畫送贈,如七○年六月,有〈黃山光明頂〉橫幅見贈,自題曰:「病目閱八月矣。頃始稍瘳,試筆作畫,此為第六幅。題奉正言世講、景淑夫人,視未病前為何如也。」七二年在三藩市砥昂美術館舉行的〈張大千四十年回顧展〉,顧氏伉儷從傍協助,該館館長達祥西在目錄前言致謝。大千返台定居後,仍保持聯繫,寄贈作品,並及其兒輩。

本幅寫於一九六八年,大千先生寫於巴西八德園,亦即其潑墨潑彩創作大盛之期。寫畢,他甚珍視,移居加州時亦携至新居,置於卧室。一日,顧氏伉儷獲邀宴於環蓽庵,得睹此作,甚喜,遂懇割愛,經再三請求,終於在多年友情打動下,先生允將本幅轉讓。因全畫色彩滿佈,顏料積叠厚重,且以抽象法成之,故未具空間添補上款。

畫中純以抽象法寫之,僅在左方綴以高低不一的小樹叢,才略見筆觸,全圖被不同顏色舖天蓋地所溢滿,色彩豐富,交叠融合,千變萬化,如彩帶流動,營造出一片鴻濛混沌的視覺效果,與畫家六五至六八年間的潑彩力作具異曲同工之妙,亦可視作西方抽象手法及瑞士遊歷目遇雪山景色所啟發影響下的表現。

大千先生對繪畫物料極講究,對色感的要求甚高。本幅所用的石青效果尤見特出,取其色澤堅實,歷久不褪,故施於畫中央的石青格外奪目,質感極強,在諸般色彩烘托下,自成全圖焦點,足見畫家對色彩的運用已臻爐火純青境界。
