畫家於巴黎留學時期與「世安」訂交。抗戰期間，彼此於陪都仍有往來。一九四六年，世安或再赴歐，故蔣碧微撿贈悲鴻筆下駿馬「以祝其行」，稱謂曰「老友」，蓋亦當年法京舊識之故。四五至四六年間，悲鴻學生陳曉南、張蒨英及四川畫家吳一峰均有書畫贈世安，此批作品皆隨之赴巴黎，後留付後輩。
