Compare a Longquan smaller conical bowl, attributed to the Song dynasty, preserved in the Palace Museum, Beijing, published in The Complete Collection of Treasures of the Palace Museum. Porcelain of the Song Dynasty (II), Hong Kong, 1996, pl. 137; and another, also smaller, from the collection of Henry J. Oppenheim and now in the British Museum, London, included on the museum website (no. 1947,0712.117), where the curator discusses about the popularity of this elegant form and the technical difficulty of this attractive glaze, which later Longquan potters failed to recreate after its pinnacle in the Southern Song period.
