我看待藝術製作的方式，並不是要將我自己的圖式強加其上，而是要凸顯媒材本身的特質所能給予的意義。藝術是通過媒材所解譯的一種活動。我所使用的材料是傳統水墨畫媒材。今天的造紙技術會摻入稻草成份來做紙，特別之處是水穿透紙張時並不會太容易將其損毀，這就是我說的物料仲介。水流穿過表面時，好像固體與液體兩種形式的溝通。猶如地質成形。我在作品中並未刻意去控制水流，而是要體驗到它自己流動沉積的意義所在。
