  • Ceramic + wood stand tbc
the well-potted tapered body rising to broad rounded shoulders, surmounted by a short waisted lobed neck rising to a gently flared lipped rim, flanked by two mythical beast handles suspending fixed rings from their mouths, covered overall with a thick crimson glaze with purplish-blue streaks on both sides, applied with a transparent brown glaze with streaks of milky blue from the interior down to the rim and handles, the base with a light brown glaze with the foot ring unglazed, wood stand

Condition

This vase is in good condition with the exception of some filled chips to the foot, that are partly obscured by glued baize. There is also some minor firing imperfections, that is burst bubbles to the glaze and there is light crackle to the glaze overall, and slight scratches to the surface.
