with shallow sides rising from a short foot to an everted rim, the interior medallion finely painted with a writhing five-clawed iron-red dragon pursuing a flaming pearl amidst blue cloud scrolls, within a double-circle also repeated at the rim, the exterior with a similar pair of dragons and 'flaming pearls', the base inscribed with Jingya tang zhi (Hall of fine elegance) in underglaze blue
Condition
This dish is in overall good condition except for a minor glaze line (approx. 0.5 cm) on the exterior between cloud scrolls, and very minor burst bubbles and iron spots.
