the exterior detailed with playful squirrels amidst gnarled vines issuing clusters of grapes and large leaves, the horn of a warm reddish-brown colour
Condition
As visible in the catalogue photo, the openwork base has broken off and extensively restored. There are also other small sections of restoration to the exterior, including approx. 1.5 cm of the rim and 0.5 cm to the handle. There are also expected minor chips to the edges of the fragile carving, age cracks and insect holes.
