陳漢文，十八世紀陶人，傳為陳鳴遠之弟。Paul Moss，《The Literati Mode》，倫敦，1986年，頁230、231，載錄一件陳漢文款蓮葉形水洗，編號105，並比較牛津艾許莫林博物館藏一件陳漢文作壺，壺身銘乾隆年款，推論陳氏活躍於乾隆朝早期。陳氏製陶多見金古紋飾，如此件墨硯、本次拍賣編號512之蓋盒，及一件陶仿青銅方彝，款識相類，1978年5月24日售於香港蘇富比，編號323，出自譚敬舊藏，現為羅桂祥珍藏，刊於羅桂祥，《The Stonewares of Yixing: from the Ming period to the present day》，香港，1986年，圖版161。
