As visible in the catalogue photo, there are tiny nicks and pitting along the outer edge of the disc. The catalogue illustration is warmer than the actual colour of the stone.

白玉，玉質瑩潤，內含白色絮狀包裹物。邊緣起廓，內雕細密穀紋，琢磨精細，雙面工。尺寸較小，應為系璧。周緣有褐黑色沁。同類玉璧見河南淮陽平糧臺楚墓十六號墓出土，載於《文物》，1984年第10期，頁23，圖18:1，彩圖見古方，《中國出土玉器全集》，卷5，北京，2005年，頁206。
