the large well-figured stone of sage-green tone, carved with a shallow well and tapering sides, all resting on four 'L'-shaped feet, the hardwood stand constructed with a frame elevated on balustrades

As just visible in the catalogue photo, there is a network of flaws to the stone, several of which are slight stretched. Minor chips and bruises to the edges and corners, the largest measuring approx. 0.6 cm. The two sections of the wood stand had become loose and have now been refixed. There are losses to two of the bracket feet. Other minor bruises and cracks.
