the circular green ink cake carved in low relief on one recessed side with a delicate and dense depiction of a wutong tree, bamboo shoots and a prunus tree, the reverse similarly recessed and centred with a rectangular cartouche enclosing Suihan san you ('Three Friends of Winter'), the edge with a Qianlong sanshi nian zao mark ('Made in the thirtieth year of the Qianlong reign') (1765)
Condition
It is in overall very good condition with only minor nibbles to the extremities. There are traces of gilt remaining.
