the rectangular panel resting on two scrolling legs, engraved with blossoming prunus branches and decorated with a seal mark reading Zixiang, the patina of a variegated slightly reddish-brown colour with darker brown streaks

The seal reads Zixiang, the zi of the famous artist Zhang Xiong, who lived from 1803 to 1886.
