There is a 1 cm shallow chip to the rim. Other minor glaze flakes and firing flaws, including a 1 cm kiln imperfection.

此盃工藝精湛，色澤靈動，琥珀色釉極富光澤。此類瓷名「絞胎」，始創於唐。取兩色胎土混合製胎，或以雙色土條貼於成器胎上而成。河南省鞏義市黃冶村鞏縣窰曾出土大量絞胎瓷碎片，錄於《黃冶唐三彩窰》，北京，2000年，彩色圖版71，編號9；陝西西安醴泉坊窰亦見出土，出版於《 唐長安醴泉坊三彩窰址》，北京，2008年，彩色圖版39。

北京故宮藏一相似盃及碟例，載《故宮博物院藏品大系·陶瓷編·5·隋唐五代》，北京，2013年，圖版330；亦有一青釉例，圖版329。另見一盃，為 Bo Ewert 博士雅藏，售於倫敦蘇富比1973年7月24日，編號3。另一例售於紐約蘇富比1986年12月3日，編號123。
